The Knucklehead of the Year award- Org., Corp. & Assoc.

The first Knucklehead of the year awards is back. Today's category is Organizations, Corporations and Associations. Knuckleheads are definitely not limited to humans.

This was a close vote. The Board of American Gold Star Moms got two votes for Knucklehead of the year here. That was my choice. However the winner is......................

Amnesty International

Amnesty International originally won the Knucklehead award on June 6th for a report stating that prisoners at Guantanamo in Cuba were being mistreated and Amnesty compared it to Soviet Gulags. The only problem was and this was admitted by the organization's leader was that Amnesty had no proof for their accusations. Our troops get slandered by people who don't know what they are talking about. What a Knucklehead!

Way to go Amnesty International! They are the seventh and last Knucklehead finalist for 2005. They join Robin Givhan, Senator Richard Durbin, James Michael Tait, Halifax Calderdale Royal Hospital, five supreme court justices and MLB Pitcher Kenny Rogers. Two days from now on December 31st we will announce the Grand Knucklehead of 2005. Please come back to see who it is.
