Commentary, sarcasm and snide remarks from a Florida resident of over thirty years. Being a glutton for punishment is a requirement for residency here. Who am I? The Knucklehead of the Day award

Today's winner is Florida State Prosecutor Brad King responsible for bringing John Couey to justice for the murder of Jessica Lunsford. A job Mr. King is so far doing very poorly.

First Mr. King refuses to press charges against Couey's family. The scum wasn't registered to live there, they bought Couey a bus ticket so he could flee. The murderer had the girl in the house. Can you tell me how they wouldn't know what was going on?

King to me sound like a coward. Try the family for chrissakes. You may not be able to get a guilty verdict, but doing nothing is worse. If not for these losers, Jessica Lunsford may be alive today.

To top matters, John Couey's admission may be ruled inadmissable. Why? Couey according to statements asked for an attorney while being interrogated and never was provided one. Any evidence uncovered because of the confession would also be inadmissible. How incompetent can people be in this case?

King may still a guilty verdict, but these blunders and errors in judgement were so avoidable. Do they ever wonder why the public distrusts the justice system?
