Police asked for the public's help Friday in finding two men who started a fire in the frozen food section of a Wal-Mart.

Two young men went into a 24-hour Wal-Mart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

The suspects lit a device in a food display freezer and walked away, said Sgt. Bob Behan, a police spokesman. The pair came back a few minutes later and looked disappointed the flame wasn't bigger, he said.

The men fanned the flame by quickly opening and closing the freezer door, then left.

Officials say the fire caused more than $1,000 of damage to the freezer and food. The incident is being treated as an arson, police said.
