DELRAY BEACH — A 19-year-old man was arrested Sunday after police said he stole a $700,000 boat from Boca Raton and took it for a joy ride.

A police officer became suspicious after she watched Jason Cyrulnik try several times to dock the boat without success, according to his arrest affidavit.

He was taken into custody, and the boat's owner, Humberto Perez, 65, of Boca Raton was notified.
