Does anyone ever fact check

When reporting on an LPGA or PGA Tour tournament? Today's example comes Andrew Carter at the Orlando Sentinel.

(Brittany)Lincicome has one more LPGA victory than both Pressel and Creamer.

Wrong! A quick check, shows Paula Creamer with two tour victories coming into 2007. Creamer has won once this year so far, that gives her ONE MORE win than Lincicome. Not one less.

I guess Mr. Carter uses those tour guide books the LPGA gives out for toilet paper. He obviously doesn't bother to use them.
