The Knuckleheads of the Day award
Today's winners are the Kraft Nabisco Championship and its tournament director Terry Wilcox. Read the excerpts from the cybergolf article below.
The Kraft Nabisco Championship will be entering its 35th year during the week of March 27 to April 2. To put that in perspective, Annika Sorenstam, the defending champion, was just a toddler in Stockholm when the tournament began in 1972.

Fans can also collect a free 35th anniversary poster featuring all 25 past champions. The commemorative posters will be available at Canyon National Bank's booth at Vendor Village, located near the main clubhouse.
Do you notice what is wrong? The tournament began in 1972, its celebrating its 35th anniversary by giving out calendars. Lets count. 1972- Tournament is born. 1973- 1st anniversary 1974- 2nd 1975- 3rd 1976- 4th.....
I don't think we need to count all the way off to 2006 to see this year is the 34th anniversary! No one counts(or should count) their wedding date or the day they are born as the 1st. It takes a year. Duh!
This is what some people would call the dumbing down of America. I hear this crap all the time on sports broadcasts, but its leaking into the MSM media too. Dan Rather before he left CBS, Robin Roberts on Good Morning America. Has everyone suddenly forgotten elementary math?
For not knowing how to count, The Kraft Nabisco Championship and its tournament director Terry Wilcox are today's Knuckleheads of the day.
