Look in the mirror Mayor

Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans told people yesterday who was to blame for the post-Katrina disaster in New Orleans. It's God!

"Surely God is mad at America. He sent us hurricane after hurricane after hurricane, and it's destroyed and put stress on this country," Nagin said as he and other city leaders marked Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

"Surely he doesn't approve of us being in Iraq under false pretenses. But surely he is upset at black America also. We're not taking care of ourselves."

No mayor, its blithering elected politicians like yourself who need to take some blame for a change. You would resign your office if you had the best interests of the people of New Orleans in mind but you don't. Hopefully the voters will show you the door at the next election.
