I want to highlight part of the story.

"There are no exceptions," said Betty Pulliam of Kansas, the national second vice president.

She is against lifting the ban, making the same argument as outgoing President Ann Herd — that the organization wouldn't be American Gold Star Mothers if noncitizens were allowed to join.

"She (Lagman) has lived here for 20 years," Pulliam said. "So why hasn't she gotten citizenship? I personally know she has been sent all the data on becoming an American citizen. What are they doing living here if they do not want to be a citizen?"

Just more confirmation of what I been saying along. Mrs. Hurd, Mrs. Young and Mrs. Pulliam are a disgraceful group of bigots who need to be called to task till they resign. Your own sons would be ashamed of what you have done!
