The Knucklehead of the Day award
Today's winner is Kenaf Thompson. He gets the award for the following.
An Escambia County Sheriff's Office police dog found a man hiding in a dog house Tuesday after he crashed his car trying to evade a deputy, authorities said.Hiding in a doghouse when being pursued by the K-9 unit is such a good idea. NOT! Kenaf Thompson is today's Knucklehead of the Day.
Kenaf Thompson, 20, was seen driving in the Brentwood Park area when the deputy attempted to pull him over, the Sheriff's Office reported.
Thompson had two outstanding felony warrants.
Thompson led the deputy on a chase that was called off when he began speeding and driving recklessly through the Montclair neighborhood, the report said.
Thompson then crashed his car in a yard in the 700 block of Seine Way and ran into a neighboring yard where he hid in a dog house, officials said.
A search team began tracking Thompson through the yard where a K-9 dog found him in the dog house.
