Bishop I have a better idea

TALLAHASSEE – -- Catholic leaders press for the rights of farm laborers and other low-income workers at a press conference this morning in Tallahassee.

Representing the Florida Catholic Conference, Bishop John H. Ricard of Pensacola will discuss a pastoral letter “Honoring the Dignity of Work: A Call for Solidarity with Farmworkers and Other Vulnerable Workers in Florida,” at 9 a.m. at the Florida Press Center.

Those other vulnerable workers include employees of the very dioceses in Florida that these bishops are supposed to be running. Read this for an example. It makes Bishop Richard and other Catholic leaders look like hypocrites when they criticize others for their employment practices.

As I will continue to say- Money will always take precedence over human life in the Catholic Church.
