You'll just crack up
I promise you a good laugh out of this Palm Beach Post article-
INDIANTOWN — If there were a Bank Robbery for Dummies instruction book, one of the first "don'ts" would probably be not to use your own bank account paperwork to write the holdup note. Two fine examples of Florida's education system. See why I rarely have trouble finding knucklehead winners.
Another probable entry would be to leave the building before the doors are locked and the alarm is sounded.
Two men charged with robbing the First Bank of Indiantown Monday could have used some study before their caper.
Mychael Jamal Blunston, 18, whose address was not listed on his arrest paperwork, was charged with armed robbery after allegedly claiming to have a bomb in his backpack in the robbery. He was held at the Martin County jail in lieu of $40,000 bail.
James Anthony Monroe, 18, of 6162 Eaton St., West Palm Beach, was also charged with armed robbery and held in lieu of $40,000 bail. He told investigators he went to the bank with Blunston with the intention of robbing it. Monroe told detectives he was pretending he wanted to open an account and didn't realize Blunston had left the bank until the doors were locked following the holdup.
Monroe claimed he didn't think he would get in any trouble because he didn't actually help, according to arrest records.
Blunston was stopped near his car a few blocks from the bank and was arrested after witnesses identified him.
