The Knucklehead of the Day Carnival Part Five

The carnival travels overseas for the first time today. Since my Philippine born wife is home, where better to go than the Philippines.

Our fifth winner is former Philippine President Joseph Estrada. He gets one of today's awards for admitting he using a false name to sign bank papers for an account. An account that has 57 million dollars in it, which Estrada denies is his.

Note- Dear Wife approves of this award. So I won't get in any more trouble than I already am. LOL.

Sure Joseph. If you sign for an account that isn't yours, you're a Knucklehead. If you stole money, you're a Knucklehead. Knowing the Philippines' long history of corruption, I have little doubt the money was put there by Estrada.

For stealing the poor Philippine people blind, Joseph Estrada is today's fifth knucklehead of the day.

Open Post- Adam's Blog, Right Wing Nation,

The former Philippines President Joseph Estrada, who is facing jail for corruption, has admitted to using a false name to sign bank papers.

The former film star continues to deny taking $80 million from state coffers and bribes while he was in office.

But he has admitted to using the false name of Joseph Velarde for an account holding $57 million.

The prosecutor in the case says it is a significant statement that virtually admits his guilt.

A verdict in his long running case is not expected until the end of the year.

Estrada was elected president of the Philippines in 1998 and was overthrown three years later.
