The Knuckleheads of the Day Carnival Part Two

Our second winners are Terry Glover and Kenneth Miller. Both are claiming to be the biological father of Jerrod Miller. Jerrod was killed by a Delray Beach policeman a year ago and both men now want to be party to a wrongful death lawsuit. They have gone to a Palm Beach County Judge in order to determine who the true father is.

Just one year left to mount a wrongful death claim on behalf of Jerrod Miller, an attorney told a judge Thursday.

An attorney for a man who claims he's Jerrod's biological father, the man who would represent the teen's estate in any future multimillion-dollar claim.

Jerrod is the Delray Beach teen killed in a controversial police shooting outside a school dance in February 2005.

Terry Glover is asking Circuit Judge Karen Martin to release Jerrod's DNA sample to see if he's a match.

Glover's attorney, Patrick Cousins, argued before the judge Thursday that it is the right thing to do, under the law and circumstance. That the test is a necessary step in seeking justice for Jerrod, that only a biological father could seek damages in a suit.

At another table in the courtroom is the man Jerrod knew as his father. Kenneth Miller's attorney is arguing that Miller is the biological father and legal father of Jerrod and his surviving twin, Sherrod.

It's an issue settled in an earlier court that should stand, attorney TJ Cunningham Jr. urged the judge.

Glover cannot ask for the paternity proof because he showed no substantial concern for Jerrod when he was alive, Cunningham argued.

Glover testified he almost never saw the twins, that he doesn't even know Sherrod's middle name. That when the twins' mother died years ago, he did not claim them then.

Glover, it came out at the hearing, already has five children with four other women and owes at least $81,000 in child support.

Miller, too, is in arrears for child support for the twins and two other children — $161,000 according to one document.

Martin said she would rule based on the law, only. She did not say when she'll sort things out.

Such fine examples of fatherhood. NOT! They're both obviosuly in it for the money, as shown Glover nor Miller gave a hoot about Jerrod or his brother till now. One of these men is probably the bio father, but since one is in arrears for back child support for the boy and the other has taken no part in the Jerrod's life, it don't matter for both are knuckleheads. These men are sperm donors, not parents. I once heard someone say- "It's easy to be a mother or father, but it is tough to be a parent." Neither of these so called men are parents.

For being greedy, Terry Glover and Kenneth Miller are our second set of Knucklehead winners for today.
