A Christmas morning laugh(goof)
Thanks to the Palm Beach Post. I won't be too hard on the Post here, Someone obviously goofed putting up a wrong headline here.
Headline- Nobel winners chosen as a rebuke to Bush policies
Article- The three-term state representative who won over seniors with his "Let Irv serve" slogan, sandwiches and schlepper tote bags has been turned away from the Kings Point condos west of Delray Beach and, naturally, isn't happy about it. So, let Irv fight -- in the courts, if necessary, but not the state Capitol.
State Rep. Irving Slosberg's battle for access to the gated community's clubhouse began after Hurricane Wilma, when he showed up uninvited, with TV cameras and a bullhorn. Many of the 6,500 seniors who live in the complex were stranded without electricity to power elevators, and without food, ice and water. Rep. Slosberg, who is running for a state Senate seat next year, brought doctors and nurses and arranged for delivery of ice and water. Regardless of his motive, the need was urgent. But Mike Hyman, president of the retirement community's management company, asked him to leave........
Obviously this has nothing to do with President Bush or Nobel Prizes. I do agree with what the Post says at the editorial's end. Inviting Slosberg to pay attention to legislative matters.
Update- The Post goofed again. Read the headline here. It says rolldown instead of rollover.
