The Palm Beach Post has no shame.

Today's lead editorial is one more example. Yesterday a Post columnist won a Knucklehead award. In today's paper we have an editorial that's wrong in it's very first paragraph.

Gulf Coast faces crisis; does Washington care?

Maybe Congress would be back in session by now if there had been a calamitous natural disaster in Iraq. After all, that's where we're spending $5 billion a month on a war that hasn't made this country safer and hasn't brought the Iraqis electricity to go with their freedom.

Sorry to inform Mr. Schultz and the Post editorial board, but the US Senate passed a relief bill last night.

WASHINGTON - Congress is speeding to President Bush an emergency measure providing $10.5 billion for relief and rescue efforts for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The House was to convene at noon Friday to send the bill to Bush's desk for his signature. The Senate gave the measure voice-vote approval late Thursday.

Yes this happened last night. But it was reported yesterday afternoon the Senate was going to vote. Don't Mr. Schultz and his minions read the wire services? The Post went to press with a incorrect editorial. Shame on you Randy Schultz.

The whole editorial is a hack job. Iraq, the lack of passion in President Bush's voice, that no one saw fit to speak till Wednesday. This whining editorial is such a joke. Does the Post editorial have any suggestions as to what could have been done better? Not a single word. They have nothing constructive to say, just partisan whine so to stir things up to the advantage of those the Post does support. Shame on Mr. Schultz and the Palm Beach Post trying to make political hay of a natural disaster.
