Susan Torres update

I have blogged before about Susan Torres, the malignant melanoma striken and brain dead Mom to be who was being kept alive so her child would have a chance for life. Since suffering a stroke early in the second trimester, Susan Torres had been kept alive by artificial means.

Today Ms. Torres gave birth. A hospital spokesman gave few details except to say the Torres baby girl weighed less than two pounds, was doing well and there were no apparent complications. Thanks be to God for this miracle but prayers are still needed for mother and daughter. Baby Girl Torres will be in a hospital NICU for some time yet. No word on Ms. Torres condition.

Update- I bumped this post up to the top. Susan Torres passed away today. God rest her soul.
