London gets the 2012 Summer Olympic Games

Delegates in Singapore and people in Trafalger square cheered when the announcement was made.

I wonder how much cheering will happen when UK Citizens learn how expensive it will be to host these games and how they will have to foot the bill in higher taxes and such.
