Craziness in Canada
Miss Universe Natalie Glebova of Canada will not be allowed to appear at a Tastes of Thailand event to be held in Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto Canada.
Wouldn't Canadians be proud of their winner. Ms. Glebova was crowned in Bangkok Thailand and the Thais were so proud of her she was made an honorary ambassador.
Then-
Prayoth Benyasut, deputy director of the Thai Trade Centre, gets a call from City Hall's special events office.
Check the rules of the square, supervisor Marguerite Reid tells him.
No the problem is the stated policy of Nathan Phillips Square which reads-
Activities which degrade men or women through sexual stereotyping, or exploit the bodies of men, women, boys or girls solely for the purpose of attracting attention, are not permitted on Nathan Phillips Square.
Last June 18th in the same square Gay pride was hosted. I've posted photos of that event and Miss Universe.
I'll let you judge which was of these two photos is degrading to women.
