Embattled NFL QB Michael Vick is now facing a 69 billion dollar federal lawsuit.

Embattled NFL quarterback Michael Vick, facing federal charges related to his alleged participation in dogfighting, has been hit with a “$63,000,000,000 billion dollar” lawsuit filed by a South Carolina inmate who alleges the Atlanta Falcons star stole his pit bulls and sold them on eBay to buy “missiles from Iran,” FOX News has learned.

The complaint also alleges that Vick would need those missiles because he pledged allegiance to Al Qaeda in February of this year.

“Michael Vick has to stop physically hurting my feelings and dashing my hopes,” Riches writes in the complaint. Riches wants $63 billion dollars “backed by gold and silver “ delivered to the front gates to the Williamsburg Federal Correctional facility in South Carolina. Riches is an inmate at the facility serving out a wire fraud conviction.
A copy of the lawsuit can be seen here.

I think there is sufficient reason to conclude Mr. Riches is nuts.(Maybe this is his or someone else's version of an April Fool's joke. Note the plaintiff's name) Vick doesn't have 69 billion. Who does? The Sultan of Brunei? Let's not forget his wanting the amount delivered in Gold and Silver. Clearly a certified check isn't good enough!

Vick will be getting what he honestly deserves soon enough. It was reported here that Michael is negotiating a plea deal because further charges are coming. I seriously doubt if they have anything to do with Iranian missiles.

Through my playing correspondence chess, I've gotten to meet quite a few characters who are in prison. One player claiming he beat this International Master in the 1970's. That would certainly be interesting, for Raymond Weinstein has been locked up since 1964. My opponent was almost certainly bragging, but I have to point out there is another IM with a similar name.

Hat tip- James Joyner at OTB. One of the commenters there gave me the title of this post when he asked. 'Just curious...what's the pit bull/Iranian missile exchange rate at?' Maybe Scott Thomas Beauchamp can investigate that for the New Republic.
