Dentures
One of those only in South Florida stories.
Police were trying to track down a denture-wearing robber who got away with a sack of cash from a Washington Mutual bank branch Monday afternoon. If they apprehend the robber, will police have them remove their teeth for a police lineup? Or show they have false teeth?
It happened about 2:15 p.m. at 790 E. Broward Blvd., Detective Katherine Collins said. The man passed a note to the teller. Witnesses could not agree whether the robber also showed a gun or simply implied that he was carrying a weapon, Collins said.
The suspect was described as white, in his 50s, more than 6 feet tall, and about 200 pounds. He wore a dark-colored baseball cap, light-colored polo shirt and shorts. It also looks like he was wearing dentures, Collins said.
Hat tip- Rick at SOTP who finds it interesting that witnesses noted false teeth but couldn't agree if he had a gun.
