The Knucklehead of the Day award Part Five

Today's fifth winner is Oscar Gomez-Sanchez. He gets the award for the following.

TAMPA - A 34-year-old man was charged this week with poking his cellular camera-telephone into a changing room at a department store and videotaping a woman trying on clothes, authorities said.

He was unaware that he himself was on surveillance video, which prompted his immediate arrest.

Omar Gomez-Sanchez, 34, 14502 N. 22nd Ave., Apt. D-09, was charged with one count of voyeurism. He remained in the Orient Road Jail Tuesday. Bail was set at $500 on the first-degree misdemeanor charge.

Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies said Gomez-Sanchez videotaped a 56-year-old Plant City woman who was trying on outfits in the Beall’s Outlet store, 13542 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., just before noon on Monday.

The name of the woman is not being published because of the nature of the offense.

Deputies said Gomez-Sanchez bent down and poked his camera-phone under the door and made the recording without the woman’s permission. Deputies said the whole incident was caught on surveillance cameras.
Mr. Gomez-Sanchez doesn't sound terribly bright. How many major store chains don't have some kind of survellance system? Plus didn't this dummy ever think that bending down like he did would look suspicious.

For being a laughably dumb criminal, Oscar Gomez-Sanchez is today's fifth Knucklhead of the Day.
