Rumbling down the road with his friends, a motorcyclist was killed early Friday morning when he flew off the highway and tumbled down an embankment.

They were on their way to visit a hospitalized friend -- another motorcyclist injured in an earlier crash.

The location of the crash, where the Interstate 95 exit feeds into westbound State Road 836, is a deathtrap for motorcyclists, a Highway Patrol official said.

Lt. Pat Santangelo of the Florida Highway Patrol said motorcycle accidents are common at the spot.

``Oftentimes, they're going 120 miles an hour and as they near the ramp, they slow down to 90, but the centrifugal force takes them. They usually end up flying off the ramp, and we find body parts in the parking lot of the women's prison down below.''

Maybe the prison crash site can become a tourist attraction. We had a whale necropsy in the Keys last summer. Isn't this a great state or what?
