Apology accepted, now resign

Knucklehead Broward County Judge Lawrence Korda is back in the news.

DEERFIELD BEACH -- A Broward circuit judge charged with smoking marijuana in a Hollywood park publicly apologized Monday morning as he finalized an agreement with prosecutors that will have him undergoing drug testing for the next six months.

Judge Lawrence Korda's deal calls for prosecutors to dismiss the misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession against him if he stays clean for six months and performs 25 hours of community service. Korda already has completed a drug and alcohol awareness course.

Korda broke the very law he is supposed to be enforcing. He has no business being on the bench anymore.
