Zacarias Moussaoui= Superman?

A curious paragraph in a New York Times article detailing the 9-11 conspirator's transfer to Supermax prison in Florence Colorado. I used to have an Uncle in Florence, except he wasn't in jail. LOL.

At Supermax, the soundproofed cells were designed so inmates cannot make eye contact with each other.

How are soundproofed walls supposed to prevent eye contact? I suppose if it contains lead they'll stop x-ray eyes.

Just more gibberish from the New York Times. Maybe they are taking up stand-up comedy now.
