The Co-Knucklehead of the Day award Part One

Today we have two such excellent candidates I am going to give two awards.

Our first winner is Democratic Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney. She gets the award for punching a Captiol Hill policeman.

According to U.S. Capitol Police, the two reportedly scuffled yesterday after the Georgia Democrat entered a House office building unrecognized and refused to stop when asked.

According to one account, the sixth-term congresswoman from DeKalb County struck the officer. A police official said there were conflicting accounts.

No charges were filed.

Police spokeswoman Sergeant Kimberly Schneider said only that senior officials have been made aware of the incident and are investigating.

Temper, temper congresswoman. Most adults are wise enough to know it isn't wise to do such outbursts, but who said members of Congress are wise. They do however often feel they are above the laws and rules they pass on the rest of the country. You are not Congresswoman, and if the facts stand up you should get justice for what you did just like anyone else.

Additional note- Congresswoman McKinney has apologized, but her act is still knucklehead worthy. It don't matter Democrat or Republican, this isn't acceptable behavior.

For assaulting a person who is there to protect her, Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is today's Co-Knucklehead of the day.
