Arrests made in Flag vandalism case in Ohio
I blogged earlier this week about the disgusting incident in Ohio where Flags were burned at the home of recently deceased Marine. An arrest was made yesterday.
Two teenage boys have been charged with arson and criminal mischief for setting fire to 20 small American flags under a car in Fairfield on Saturday.
Police say the teens apparently did not know that the flags were placed to honor Army Private First Class Tim Hines, whose funeral was Friday. Hines died in a Washington hospital of injuries suffered last month in an explosion in Baghdad.
The fire destroyed a car belonging to Hine's sister-in-law. Police say it was a random act of vandalism by the 15- and 13-year-old, and that they were involved in similar acts that samemorning.
My only comment or question- Where were these children's parents?
The outpouring of support for Katy Hines and her two children has been incredible. An annonymous donor gave a check for over $100,000 for the children's education plus a non-profit organization is going to build the family a house. If you want to read more, click here.
