The Knuckleheads of the Day award

Today's winners are Miguel Martinez and William Vasquez. They get the award for the following

Boynton Beach police arrested two men on Thursday for stealing $2,000 worth of bras from a Victoria Secret store at the Boynton Beach Mall.

Police said that Miguel Martinez, 42, and William Vasquez, 27, had foil-lined bags which allow shoplifters to walk out of a store without setting off an alarm, but when they were caught they ran from the store.


Martinez was able to get into his car and drive toward Interstate 95 but accidentally turned into a parking lot where he was met by police. Martinez was charged with grand retail theft, felony fleeing and eluding, and possession of anti-shoplifting countermeasure device. Vasquez was charged with grand retail theft and possession of anti-shoplifting countermeasure device.
