Hitting the bullseye

A man attempting to rob a security guard outside a Miami Gardens BrandsMart USA early Sunday ended up shooting his accomplice in the eye - by accident, according to Miami-Dade police.Shooting one of your accomplices, taking seats in the hospital waiting room. Isn't Florida full of nuts?
The wounded man, whose name was not released, was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he is listed in critical condition, police said.
Around 4:40 a.m., two men showed up outside the store and attempted to rob security guard Corey Tully, who was riding on a golf cart through the parking lot of BrandsMart USA, 4320 NW 167th St.
One of the would-be-robbers, who was carrying a handgun, demanded money from Tully, but he refused. A struggle ensued.

Tully tussled with the armed man, when the robber's accomplice came up from behind and tried to take Tully down to the ground.
Instead, the gun went off, a bullet hitting the second robber in the eye.

The robbers fled in a black Pontiac Grand Prix, along with three other men, but showed up at North Shore Hospital requiring treatment for the wounded man.

Hospital staff alerted police that a gunshot victim was being treated at the hospital. Police arrived and arrested the four men, while the injured man was transported to the Ryder Trauma Center.
