The First Day of Spring Knucklehead Festival Part Four
Our fouth winner today is fifteen-year-old Alexander Irvine. He gets the award for the following.
(CBS4) PARKLAND A Broward teen has been arrested for setting off an acid bomb Tuesday morning at a Parkland school.Note- The South Florida MSM continues to coddle violent teens. The Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald did not name Alexander Irvine in their coverage of yesterday's bombing.
15-year old Alexander Irvine is charged with one count of detonation of a destructive device, which is a 2nd degree felony. During questioning Irvine allegedly admitted to setting off the bomb this morning at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He also reportedly admitted to setting off several other bombs like it in Parkland over the weekend.
Broward Schools officials said a crowd of students was in the courtyard where the acid bomb went off at about 7:30 a.m. Nine students complained they were splashed by a liquid, most likely muriatic acid, and were treated as a precaution
School officials and the Broward Sheriff's Office bomb squad placed the school into lockdown mode, where students were kept in classrooms, until the grounds could be searched for more bombs. The lockdown was lifted about 9:30 a.m.
Some parents complained their students were not allowed to use their cellphones to call parents. Broward school policy prohibits most cellphone use in schools.
Irvine has been suspended from school and could be expelled.
TFM, nor CBS Channel 4, has no such compunction. This teen committed a violent act that could have seriously harmed students. Irvine deserves bit just suspended and expelled, but also to be today's fourth Knucklehead winner of the Day.
