Sitting Bull

A Brahma bull fell out of a trailer onto the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 approaching Lantana Road early this morning.

At 12:06 a.m., troopers responded to a call that a bull was sitting in the center lanes of the interstate.

When it fell from the trailer, the 1,600-pound animal injured its back leg, said Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Tim Frith.

A veterinarian responded to the scene to determine whether the bull had to be euthanized as a result of its injuries. But the bull stood up on its own and the vet was able to get the bull back in the trailer at 1:44 a.m., Frith said.

Frith said he did not know where the bull went after that, and troopers had not cited the driver. While bulls and cows occasionally wander onto rural roads, it was the first time in memory that a bull was on I-95 in Palm Beach County, Frith said.

Damn South Florida MSM. They should get a followup interview with the Bull. Life in Florida is certainly not boring.
