The Palm Beach Post closed today

Not exactly the way some people would wish.

WEST PALM BEACH — The Palm Beach Post building at 2751 S. Dixie Highway was closed this morning beginning at 11 a.m. by police and firefighters after an envelope containing an unknown powder was opened in the mail room.

Tests by the West Palm Beach fire department showed that there was no anthrax or similarly hazardous material in the powder.

After testing was completed, the building was reopened to visitors shortly before noon.

Maybe the substance in the envelope was the same as here. Cue the sarcastic laughter.
