PLANT CITY - Police accused a 19-year-old woman Saturday night with leaving her 2-year-old child inside a car for at least 45 minutes while she went dancing at a bar, arrest reports state.

Maria Campo, who faces a second-degree felony of child neglect, was being held in the Orient Road Jail on Sunday night, with bail set at $7,500.

Shortly after 11 p.m., witnesses found the child "screaming and crying" while standing in the backseat of a 1998 blue Ford Mustang, reports state. Witnesses who said the car's windows were left open slightly were able to get the child out, reports state.
