Commentary, sarcasm and snide remarks from a Florida resident of over thirty years. Being a glutton for punishment is a requirement for residency here. Who am I? I've been called a moonbat by Michelle Malkin, a Right Wing Nut by Daily Kos, and middle of the road by Florida blog State of Sunshine. Tell me what you think.

Knucklehead Award Friday Part Fourteen

Our fourteenth winners are Kelly Ripa and Rosie O'Donnell. They get the award for the following.

Kelly Ripa’s dispute with Clay Aiken’s behavior spilled over to The View when Rosie O’Donnell said Ripa’s reaction to Aiken was "homophobic." Ripa said she thought Aiken was disrespectful when, during an interview with Emmitt Smith and his partner from Dancing With the Stars, he put his hand over Ripa’s mouth. Ripa said she "didn’t know where that hand’s been." "That’s a homophobic remark," O’Donnell said during Tuesday’s show. Within minutes, Ripa was on the phone to the show defending herself. She said her comment had nothing to do with Aiken’s sexuality but was a reflection of this being cold and flu season. "It wasn’t anything homophobic," Ripa said. "Rosie, you know how I feel. You have to be more responsible. Not everything is homophobic."
This entire controversy(If it isn't staged for ratings. Remember this is sweeps month) is so stupid. A television cat fight between two women with mostly air between their ears. You can have them but TFM first makes Kelly Ripa and Rosie O'Donnell our fourteenth Knucklehead winners of the day.
