The July 4th Knucklehead of the Day Marathon Part Twenty-One
Our twenty-first winners for today are a pair of brothers, Kingston and Erickson Lucien. They plotted to steal nearly $25,000 from a Winn-Dixie Grocery Store Kingston was an Asst. Manager of. Their plan went wrong when Lucien left his cell phone in the store. One loaded with text messages detailing the brothers' plan.
LOL, what a pair of geniuses! Lucien is still wanted by the police, but he along with his brother Kingston are today's twenty-first Knucklehead winners of the day.
An assistant manager at a Mangonia Park Winn-Dixie and his half-brother stole nearly $25,000 from the store, authorities said.
Kingston Lucien, the assistant manager, has been charged with conspiracy and armed robbery and is behind bars.
But his brother Erickson Lucien, 18, of North Miami is still on the run.
The armed heist happened last week.
Officials said Erickson Lucien is also a Winn-Dixie employee in the Miami area. He entered the Poinciana Plaza store off 45th Street in his uniform to trick employees, they said.
Authorities said Erickson Lucien left his cellphone in the store with text messages on it instructing him when to come into the store.
