TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Internet users logging onto the state's public disaster Web site Tuesday for an update on Tropical Storm Alberto instead got an imposter page after a hacker broke into the site.

Technicians quickly pulled the imposter page from the http://www.floridadisaster.org site, said Florida Division of Emergency Management spokesman Mike Stone.

"It did not go to any of our internal or operations service sites," Stone said. "It was not anything pornographic."

The matter was turned over to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's cyber crime unit for investigation and the disaster site was relocated to another server system, he said.
