The Knucklehead of the Day award

Goes to the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He gets it for the following comments on the holocaust.

"They have fabricated a legend under the name 'Massacre of the Jews', and they hold it higher than God himself, religion itself and the prophets themselves," he told a crowd in the southeastern city of Zahedan on Wednesday.

The historical proof that the holocaust happened is overwhelming. Dear wife and I went to Auschwitz when we visited Poland in 2000. It happened. What President Ahmadinejad said was pure demagoguery.

Dr. Taylor notes this may help Ahmadinejad with the hardliners in his country but not with his country's foreign relations. I don't know, there may be an element in the 3rd world who believes this nonsense.

For ignoring history, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is today's Knucklehead of the Day.
