The Knucklehead of the Day award

Goes to French President Jacques Chirac. While Muslims were rioting in his country for over a week, President Chirac maintained a low profile instead of exercising leadership in his country. I'm not gloating over the sad situation in France, but Chirac's almost total invisibility should be a scandal in French politics. A crisis was going on and till recently the French President was nowhere to be found. For this, Jacques Chirac is today's knucklehead of the day.
