Way to go Dontrelle
The Florida Marlins lefty became the first pitcher in team history to win 20 games in a single season. Last night the Marlins defeated the Washington Nationals 12-1.
Dontrelle pitched the first five innings before leaving the game. He had a head cold yesterday that kept him confined to bed for much of the day. In addition to his pitching, Dontrelle got two hits to help his cause.
The Marlins remain one game out in the closely contested National League wild card race. They play three games this weekend against their closest rival, The Houston Astros.
