Space Shuttle mission scrubbed

The launch of Discovery today was cancelled by NASA. Now I think it's time to scrub the entire shuttle program.

That won't be a popular opinion in Florida or certain other parts of the country but I feel its the right one. These shuttles are far too expensive and too dangerous anymore. NASA buried their heads in the sand 2.5 years ago knowing they had a crippled shuttle and 7 astronauts paid the price for it. These shuttles are old and just a small miscue can bring down another one. And what for? Its a multi-billion dollar boondoggle this country would be better off without.
