Medical equipment company Awareness Technology Inc. must pay a former employee $60,000 for demoting her after learning she was pregnant, then firing her after she complained, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said Monday.Enough said. Suzanne Roberts, a fomer employee at the Palm City company lost her job soon after she told her boss in 2005 that she was pregnant, the EEOC said. The $60,000 covers back pay and compensatory damages.
