Commentary, sarcasm and snide remarks from a Florida resident of over thirty years. Being a glutton for punishment is a requirement for residency here. Who am I? I've been called a moonbat by Michelle Malkin, a Right Wing Nut by Daily Kos, and middle of the road by Florida blog State of Sunshine. Tell me what you think.

Not so brilliant

San Francisco Chronicle columnist columnist Mark Morford doesn't hold a very high opinion of President Bush. Should this surprise me from someone who lives in the City on the bay?

It is like some sort of virus. It is like some sort of weird and painful rash on your face that makes you embarrassed to walk out the door and so you sit there day after day, waiting for it to go away, slathering on ointment and Bactine and scotch. And yet still it lingers.

Some days the pain is so searing and hot you want to cut off your own head with a nail file. Other days it is numb and pain-free and seemingly OK, to the point where you think it might finally be all gone and you allow yourself a hint of a whisper of a positive feeling, right up until you look in the mirror, and scream.
This is what Morford starts his column off with. He soon makes it known he is referring to President Bush.

He goes on to call Bush a cancer, a poison. Morford is big on calling Bush and his supporters many things and attacking their intelligence. Most of which has been heard before from the left. Frank Rich at the NYT trots out a Bush bashing column almost every week. Rich also thinks of himself as clever, and Morford writes in a similiar vein.

Morford trots out the 2004 election was rigged theory. He cites a Rolling Stones piece. Alot of liberals think this is hogwash. The column also refers to Bush being the worst President. I think that statement shows an appalling ignorance of American history. Morford is entitled to these opinions.

What I'm getting to is Morford did crossed a line, writing something I have never seen from the MSM before. Here it is.

This is where it stands: Bush can in no way risk alienating the ultra-right-wing bonk-job contingent that put him in office.

The word bonk has two meanings. One of which is- have sexual intercourse with

I'm part of the blow job contingent in other words. How this was ever allowed into print is beyond me. The San Francisco Chronicle should be ashamed of themselves, but I guess they think nothing of it instead. Bush is a cancer and must be attacked and discredited by any means possible. Nothing is too low or out of bounds in their private little war against the man who can't point to Afghanistan on a map as Morford says.

Then a columnist says over 50 million people are a sex act. Now who are the elite intelligent ones?

Hat tip- Professor Bainbridge.
