From the Silly news desk

Some news from Dania Florida. Didn't these miscreants ever hear of the saying- "You're being tailed"?

Deputies from the Broward Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects minutes after they robbed two men late Wednesday night in Dania Beach.

Here is what BSO says took place at about 10:38 p.m. as deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery in the 3200 block of Griffin Road:

As deputies responded they learned that the robbery victims were following the suspects' 1999 Honda Accord at that time. The victims were using their cell phone to advise 911 operators and dispatchers of the suspects' location as they trailed them. The information was then relayed to deputies.

Deputies spotted the suspect's vehicle on State Road 7, south of Davie Blvd., and followed it until back-up units were in position. A felony traffic stop was conducted in the McDonald's parking lot on the 1100 block of N. State Road 7 in Lauderhill. Four men were in the car and further investigation revealed that two of them, Brendene Johnson, 18, and Kenneth Fish, 29, were the armed robbers.

Robbery detectives responded to the scene and found a handgun in the suspects' vehicle. Jewelry, found in the suspects' car trunk, was later identified by the victim Meyers, who said the suspects had snatched his neck chain and bracelet at gunpoint.

Johnson and Fish were both charged with armed robbery and are both being held without bond in BSO's main jail.
