The Knuckleheads of the Day award
Today's winners are The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Leesburg Detective Gary Barret, Assistant State Attorney James Kershaw, and anyone else associated with the prosecution of Kenneth Malcom Robinson for raping a 13-year-old girl. Mr. Robinson was acquitted of the charges but FDLE failed to run DNA tests on saliva from him. It would have shown Robinson was the rapist.
Go read the entire Orlando Sentinel article. It's too long to summarize here. Incompetent bungling has put a child rapist back out on the streets.
For failing the citizens of Florida, The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Leesburg Detective Gary Barret, Assistant State Attorney James Kershaw, and anyone else associated with the prosecution of Kenneth Malcom Robinson are today's Knuckleheads of the day.
