Someone should write President Bush a memo

It would remind the President of what happened 15 years ago. For today in history the following occured.

The Senate voted 90-9 to confirm the nomination of Judge David H. Souter to the Supreme Court.

David Souter's nomination was one of President Bush Sr's biggest mistakes. It is said he passed over Edith Jones to pick Souter instead. History and the court would have been very different with Jones instead and the current President Bush would do well to make Judge Jones his selection to replace Sandra Day O'Connor.
