The July 4th Knucklehead Marathon Part Four

Our forth winner today is Enrique Alcantara. He gets the award for the following.

A member of the Akyat-Bahay Gang paid for his being out of shape after he ran out of breath while evading pursuing policemen in Navotas City before dawn Tuesday.

Radio dzBB reported Tuesday that the suspect, identified as Enrique Alcantara, even asked pursuing policemen for "time out" as he stopped to catch his breath.

PO2 Erwin Buenceso said Alcantara was one of two men who broke into the house of one John Paul Avelino at Ignacio Street in Navotas City.

When Avelino heard a commotion he went to investigate and caught Alcantara and his still-unidentified companion. Alcantara's companion jumped out through the window.

Alcantara, on the other hand, tried to make a run for it but his breath caught up with him.

Did Mr. Alcantara think police would act like basketball referees? I hope police supplied oxygen if necessary afterwards as they took him to jail. Enrique Alcantara is our forth Knucklehead winner of the Day.
